About Globe

Set up by the community, Globe aims to drive meaning climate activities that better people, place and planet. 

What started out as a monthly litter picking group, Globe has now blossomed into a thriving eco centre for the community and local organisations. The Globe Group CIC (our registered name) is a nonprofit that we started in Uttoxeter in 2018. 

We offer a range of free community services, as well as our Zero Waste Shop which helps us to raise funds to keep the centre going. We have a fantastic mix of staff and volunteers that help to deliver services and projects to enable a happier, healthier and most sustainable place to live. 

Globe works with other partners, community groups and organisations predominantly across Staffordshire, Stoke and Derby.
