Edible Gardening for Small Spaces

Learn how to plant in small spaces using creative containers and ideas. The course will look at how to recycle, reuse and upcycle materials to bring small unused areas to life with a variety of edible fruit and veg. The workshop will take your through the various methods and forms you could use to do this, including raised beds, vertical gardening, square foot and no dig gardening.
This is a hands on course and you will get to create your own small edible planter to take home.
The craft workshop is for all skills levels and all equipment and tools will be provided.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Lunch is not included but there is a café on site.
The course starts at 10am with a break for lunch at 12noon and finishes at 3pm.
By Car: There is free parking on site, once in Uttoxeter, please follow the brown signs for the Strawberry Garden Centre By Bus: The nearest bus stop is located directly outside the centre car park on the Bramshall Road.
This community course is funded by Tesco’s Bags Of Help. Spaces are FREE however please book early as places are limited and given on a first come, first served basis. This course would not be suited to children under 14 years.
