Introduction to Lino Printing
21 March @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm£25
This beginner’s workshop explores lino printing, also known as linocutting, a printmaking technique that goes back to the early 20th century. It’s an effective method for creating multiple artistic prints.
This environmentally-sound print method is fantastic for making cards, gifts and many other keepsakes. Lino printing is also a respected form of fine art, so this is an incredibly versatile method to work with and flex your creative muscles. You can create any number of styles under the guidance of our instructor, working with natural inks and papers. All tools will be provided and you will finish the workshop with printed gift cards and your own linocut block for future prints.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
