Natural hygiene, skin & feminine care
5 April @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
£2.50
OVERVIEW
Just one of us will use more than 11,000 disposable chemically-bleached sanitary products in a lifetime. Single-use female hygiene and skin care products are increasingly damaging the environment, but what are the alternatives?
This workshop will explore your eco options, giving you a chance to learn about new eco products and methods that can improve wellbeing, are cost effective long-term and are more environmentally friendly than most mainstream methods.
The workshop will be delivered by vegan and environmental blogger PK Whalen, she will share hers and others anecdotal experiences of a variety of products and methods. You will get to see a range of products available from period cups to deodorant paste, providing you a chance to test some of the products and ask all the questions you have about making the switch to an eco alternative, dispelling myths and uncertainties.
REFRESHMENTS
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
