Natural Mother & Baby Care
10 May @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm£2.50
Nearly 8 million nappies are thrown away every day in the UK; that’s 3 billion a year. More disposable nappies are found in UK household waste than anything else and can take hundreds of years to decompose, but what are the alternatives?
Whether you are in the early stages of pregnancy or have become a mum in the last 18 months, this workshop will explore your eco options. Learn about new eco products and methods that can improve the wellbeing of both mother and baby, looking at cost effective, environmentally friendly approaches.
You will get to try and test a range of products available from reusable nappies to slings and learn about skin care regimes for you and your baby, providing you a chance to ask all the questions you have about making the move to an eco alternative, dispelling myths and giving you confidence to make an easy switch.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
The session will run for approximately two hours. 10am – 12noon
