We have several spaces to rent for one off or weekly activities, as well as office spaces for organisations that align with our eco & wellbeing ethos.

Welcome to the Globe Eco Centre, located at the historic Old Mill in Uttoxeter (ST14 8AG). Our versatile rooms are available for hire, providing an ideal space for one-off events, weekly activities, office use, or meetings. Whether you’re hosting a workshop, running a class, or need a professional environment for business meetings, our eco-friendly centre offers flexible and affordable options.

for Hire

We have several options for room hire available. Each room’s layout is flexible to suit your event or activity. Given our ethos, we actively encourage non profit and community groups to use our facility. We are also happy to discuss multiple and regular bookings.

The Blythe (Avail from Jan 2025)

Approx 60sqm
ROOM CAPACITIES:
Theatre: Up to 40 people

Reception (Standing): Up to 50 people

The Edison Room

Approx 10sqm
ROOM CAPACITIES:

The Darwin

Hire Information

  • Minimum hire is 2 hours. Half-day bookings are available from 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, or in the evening from 5pm onwards. Full-day hire includes 8 hours, typically from 9am-5pm. We are happy to accommodate bookings outside of these hours upon request.
  • We will arrange the room with/without chairs and tables, as required.
  • Please include any time you may need to set up or breakdown your event within your booking time, we are happy to discuss any specific requirements
  • While we do provide catering, you are welcome to arrange your own. However, we kindly request that all leftovers and associated waste are removed from our premises.
  • As a characteristic of our historic building, please note that there may be some noise transference. We ask that you be respectful of others using the space. Due to this, the building is also unsuitable for children's parties or high-impact activities such as aerobics.
  • We are happy to accommodate regular or club bookings.
  • We are happy to promote your activity on our social channels.
  • All rooms are subject to availability, and we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
  • Parking is available directly outside in the pay and display public car park. We are walking distance from both bus and train stations. Please consider car-sharing or public transport where possible.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and additional technical equipment can be arranged upon request.
  • All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions, which will be provided at the time of booking.
